Questions Are Our Best Friends!

Recently, I saw an amazing quote. I'm sorry that I can't remember who said it. I believe it was someone as renown as Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill or Benjamin Franklin.

"My six best friends have taught me everything I know. My six best friends are named What, Why, When, Who, Where and How".

This wonderful quote emphasizes the critical importance of purposeful, open ended questions, so important for so many reason.

For me, to open my mind, to gain knowledge and wisdom, to show someone I really care and that I respect her (or him), to feed the joy of my curiosity, and, in business, the all important learning exactly what my client expects, needs and wants, both external clients as well as my co-workers, who are my internal clients.

If we practice this art of asking lots of good questions, we will improve in our leadership and helping people succeed and grow. We will also be better a family member and be a better friend!
